Living Room brings together works that refer to objects of our homey parlor. They address the fragility of the domestic, and the dysfunctional objects point out the absurdity of the many things we accumulate over time. Living Room also means the ‘vivid room’ because the works contain a tipping point, are alive themselves or address life.

In addition, the exhibition space will change for weekly events. In Living Room we will have an open structure that Stefan Alber conceived specially for the exhibition. As a hybrid of artwork and exhibition design, it invites us to interact, serving as a presentation platform or seating furniture, and will be used in various ways in the weekly events (contemporary chamber concert, screening of short films and food event).
