The metallic object shows a small, dynamic figurine. With its relief-like depiction, the rough edges and a fragmentary value side all indicate that this is the carved-out minting of a coin. Stefan Alber used a sculptural method to release the representation of Umberto Boccioni’s futuristic masterpiece „Forme uniche della continuità nello spazio“ on the Italian 20 cent coin. He devalues the coin and exposes the icon with its ideal value. As a multiple, the miniature sculpture references the ubiquitous presence and multiplication of the unit and original plaster model as a classic bronze sculpture. The work „Untitled, 2021“ was created during a research stay in Calabria.

Das metallische Objekt zeigt eine kleine, dynamische Figurine. Die reliefartige Darstellung, die raue Sägekante und die fragmentarische Wertseite weisen darauf hin, dass es sich hier um die herausgearbeitete Prägung einer Münze handelt. Stefan Alber hat die Abbildung des futuristischen Meisterwerks „Forme uniche della continuità nello spazio“ von Umberto Boccioni auf der italienischen 20 Cent Münze durch eine bildhauerische Methode freigelegt. Er entwertet die Münze und stellt die Ikone mit ihrem ideellen Wert frei. Als Multiple verweist die Miniaturskulptur auf die allgegenwärtige Präsenz und die Vervielfachung des originalen Gipsmodells als klassische Bronzeskulptur. Die Arbeit „Untitled, 2021“ ist bei einem Studienaufenthalt in Kalabrien entstanden.
